I have been exploring the sounds and textures of synthesis since the end of 2019 when I decided to get my first two electronic instruments: a Moog Grandmother and a DFAM. As my collection has grown, I've found fulfillment in making new connections, and journeying into unexpected territory. I’ve discovered artists and found subgenres of electronic music that I never expected. These musicians and their tools have inspired me and kept my curiosity infinitely fresh: Alessandro Cortini, Suzanne Ciani, Caterina Barbieri, and Autechre.

Hypnotics 1, is the first in a series of patches, sketches, and compositions that focuses on creating form through repetition.
