In order to properly corrupt your listening experience, please internalize the following:

On a distant star, there is a lone outpost. Scanning the sky and soil, a vast array of interconnected systems detect, measure, process, interpolate, compile, organize and transmit data back to Earth. The sole technician of this station, and this planet's only occupant, lies dreaming within this clockwork fortress of sensors.

Sleeping in the womb of the humming fans, breathing rebreathers, beneath rotating dishes, the interstellar balloons and weathercocks, a void space plays across the mind. When Error stalls operation and motors buck and tread backwards, trying at recalibration, Earth is no longer receiving. In the din of faults, the dreamer rises and starts to desperate work at odd hours not measured, but reset to the blinking state of midnight, singing the morning's song called Alarm.

The dreamer must leave the cot and cabin called Home, venture through the walls and their plumbing in order to descend below ground level to see about manually resetting the faulty system.

Waist deep, wading through thick gelatinous coolant and tangles of wires to the archaic binary brain at the center of the station. Through Fail Safes and signs of Caution, hand heavy upon the toggle between 1/0, a voice from without calls from within. EH ol.

Earth is no longer receiving because it is not within its set range of coordinates. Hell.

Attempts to locate it manually, resetting transmission through star chart and telescopic location also fail. It is not there. Hello.
